Dr. habil. Rudi Danz, physicist

Dr. Danz brings over 30 years of experience in the area of functional polymers for electrical and optical properties. From 1992 until 2007 he worked as head of department for physically active polymers and as project supervisor in the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research in Potsdam. Prior to that position he was employed at the Institute of Polymer Chemistry in Teltow and dealed with polymer electrets and piezoelectric sensors.
Dr. Danz holds a diploma in physics from the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena, a Ph. D.degree in the field of infrared spectroscopy and a certificate of University lecturing qualification (Venia legendi).
He is author and coauthor of more than 90 publications and 40 patents.
In 1988 he worked as a guest researcher at the University of Montpellier in Montpellier and at the Ecole de Physique et de Chimie in Paris.
